"It works, but I had to poke around a bit"
The site does what it’s supposed to do, so that’s good. I just kept feeling like I was taking the long way around to find things. Maybe it was the layout, or maybe I missed something obvious, but the navigation felt a little clunky and confusing at times.

"Nice files, but a few compatibility hiccups"
I grabbed a font bundle and most of it worked totally fine. A few files, though, didn’t open properly in my older Photoshop/Illustrator setup. Kind of frustrating. I ended up having to convert some of them myself, which was a bit of a hassle. The site is decent overall. Just wish the compatibility info was clearer before downloading.

"Way too many emails after signing up"
I signed up for their emails, thinking it would just be the usual updates, but now it feels like they just keep coming nonstop. I tried unsubscribing, too, and somehow I still got more after that. it’s just annoying, and not really what I expected from a simple email signup

"Pretty good, but I felt a bit overlooked"
The selection is decent and there’s a good variety overall, but I still found myself wishing there were more font options. It kind of felt like that part was ignored, which was a little frustrating

"Downloads kept glitching on me"
I had a frustrating time with Pixel Surplus. I’d try to download the files and they would either randomly stop halfway through or throw an error, so I had to keep restarting like… make it make sense.
Maybe other people have no issues with it, but it just wasn’t reliable for me. Once I’ve bought something or signed up, I really don’t want to spend extra time battling the download process.

"Gotta admit, the licenses were clear"
I wasn’t really expecting much, but after downloading the bundle I have to admit the license info was actually easy to understand. No guessing or digging around, which was a nice surprise.

"support never got back to me"
i tried contacting support twice because i was having trouble with a download, and both times i basically got nowhere. no real reply, just a lot of waiting. it was frustrating since i needed the files for work, so i don’t think i’d use this again.

I tried downloading a few of the free resources, hoping I’d find something helpful, but most of them felt a bit outdated or just not very useful. Maybe they work better for someone else, but for me they didn’t feel worth the time. I was a little disappointed because I really wanted them to be more helpful.

"Fonts looked really rough up close"
I was expecting the quality to be better, but the fonts looked really rough when I got a closer look. Overall, it just wasn’t quite what I was hoping for
